I gasped, confronting the reflection of my girlfriend in the mirror, "I thought all that talk about making me see things her way was, like, a metaphor, but I guess she meant it literally." Part of me wanted to run after her and beg for my body back, but my blood was up after our argument, and the part of me that stubbornly wanted to prove her wrong won out in the end.
