Spindizzy's tales of transformation

Jim was proud of his collection. Cosmic-Woman was a pretty obscure character but that just added to the satisfaction Jim felt every time he tracked down a new addition. He had all thirty-seven issues of her original silver age run. The short lived dark and gritty reboot from the nineties. Both the Cosmic-Lass and Cosmic-Lad spin offs. A shelf full of action figures and merchandise. Even a VHS bootleg copy of the unaired TV pilot starring Erin Gray. His latest acquisition was especially exciting. A limited addition twelve inch Cosmic woman action figure. Exciting not only for the incredible detail of the figure but also because it wasn't supposed to exist. As far as Jim knew this entire run of figures had been destroyed in a warehouse fire before any had shipped, yet here one was in his hands plucked from a box of junk at an otherwise unremarkable yard sale.   Alan had seen some pretty weird stuff as an urban explorer but nothing quite as surprising as this. Hanging on a peg in the basement of a long abandoned hospital was what he could only call a super suit. A white body stocking made of some kind of spandex along with a red cape and a pair of boots and gloves. The costume seemed out of place with its surroundings. Where the basement was dark and dusty the suit was spotlessly clean. So white it almost seemed to glow in the gloom.  Alan searched around for some clue as to the suit's origin but found nothing but empty boxes and cobwebs.  Scratching his head at the mystery he was struck by a thought, what if he tried it on? He dismissed the impulse at first but then again, why not? The suit looked big enough to fit him. The boots might be a little tight but it wasn't like he was planning on hiking in them. Okay,  this looks bad... Mariah Hill asked me to check on a suspected A.I.M. weapons depot and who should I find but the Mad Thinker and a certain Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird aka my ex-wife.  (Thanks for the heads up there Hill.)  Well, there was the was the usual amount of punching and witty banter until one of Thinkers gizmos went off and somehow  me  and Bobbi ended up switching bodies. (Which actually feels kind of nice but I can’t afford to get distracted right now) Now normally this would be the part where someone way smarter than me would tell me what to hit and the day would be saved but with Bobbi captured and the rest of the Avengers on a mission to South America, I’m going to have to fall back on plan B. (Shoot things until there’s a big kaboom) That should put a stop to Thinker’s crazy plan to hold the city hostage and hopefully reverse our switcharoo.
