Kinktober 2021: Day 1. Collector

Jim was proud of his collection. Cosmic-Woman was a pretty obscure character but that just added to the satisfaction Jim felt every time he tracked down a new addition. He had all thirty-seven issues of her original silver age run. The short lived dark and gritty reboot from the nineties. Both the Cosmic-Lass and Cosmic-Lad spin offs. A shelf full of action figures and merchandise. Even a VHS bootleg copy of the unaired TV pilot starring Erin Gray.

His latest acquisition was especially exciting. A limited addition twelve inch Cosmic woman action figure. Exciting not only for the incredible detail of the figure but also because it wasn't supposed to exist. As far as Jim knew this entire run of figures had been destroyed in a warehouse fire before any had shipped, yet here one was in his hands plucked from a box of junk at an otherwise unremarkable yard sale.

He'd paid the asking price and rushed home with it half believing that it must be a fake. But as he examined it closely every detail looked perfect. If it was a fake it was an amazingly good one. The mystery of it was almost as interesting as the thing itself.

He was preparing to clear a space on his shelf and dive into some serious research when he noticed the words stamped on the back of the figures leg.

"υo γɘmɘʞ ɒM" He read aloud before gasping as an electric shock seemed to leap from the doll.

He dropped it clutching at his stung hand but the burning electrical feeling didn't stop. Instead it spread up his arm to engulf his whole body. He groaned collapsing to the floor as his body shook and twisted in the grip of an impossible transformation. He stretched and writhed, moaning as full breast formed on his chest and his hips widened to give him a womanly figure. Waves of chestnut hair fell to his shoulders framing a beautiful and unmistakably female face. Even his clothing changed, his jeans and t-shirt turning into Cosmic-Woman's distinctive red and white costume. The lycra bodysuit stretched tight enough to leave nothing to the imagination especially where it covered the now empty space between his legs.

Slowly the discomfort of the impossible transformation ebbed away to be replaced by a growing sense of power. A fizzing energy that washed away the fear and confusion he should have felt. He stood planting his booted feet in a confident pose, ignoring the discarded doll that had become a perfect miniature replica of his original form.

A new certainty filled him and he knew his life as Jeff the comic collector was over. The real life adventures of Cosmic-Woman were about to begin!
